IFS Made Simple

An Introduction to Internal Family Systems

Internal Family Systems is best known as a therapeutic model, but it is much more than that. It is a personal development program that can change you and the way you relate to others—whether you are a practitioner or not.

The big ideas of IFS are simple and when you understand them, they become a way of life. As you change, everything in your world begins to change. You become more calm, confident, and compassionate.

This two-day introduction will give you a basic understanding of the five organizing principles of IFS.

If you are considering the Coaching with IFS-1 training, this will give you a feel of that program and our emphasis on direct access to presence.

We invite you to join our circle of learning and love.

What will I learn?

  • The organizing principles of IFS

    • We have many parts or sub-personalities

    • No matter how troubling those parts may be, they have a noble purpose

    • Parts live and relate in a system

    • We are more than our parts; we are what IFS calls Self, which is whole, wise, loving, and good

  • The four building blocks of presence

  • The transformative power of unconditional positive regard

  • The guiding star in every situation
