Our participation agreement
Before your first class
Please review the agreements below and complete the form at the bottom of this page.
Our trainings are experiential, relational, and participatory. These agreements help us create a learning environment that is structured, inclusive, compassionate, and safe enough for meaningful practice.
Attendance
We ask that you attend at least 80% of live class time.
If you expect to miss more than 20%, please contact us for approval. If you miss more than 50% of the training, you will not be eligible for a Certificate of Completion or ICF Continuing Education Credits (CCEs).
If illness or an emergency causes you to miss all or part of a class, please let us know as soon as possible.
Classes are recorded so you can review material you miss.
Your participation
Our trainings combine guided meditations, teaching, demonstrations, discussion, mentoring, and peer practice.
We invite you to:
Participate actively in the learning community.
Come prepared and take responsibility for your learning.
Keep pace with assigned course materials.
Participate in peer practice between modules when required by your program.
Bring the practices you are learning into your daily life and professional work.
Experiential activities are always an invitation. You may participate at the level that feels right and safe for you.
During Class
Upon Entry: To minimize disturbance of the co-created container, we will have you wait in the Zoom waiting room if you arrive during a meditation (the 1st 15 minutes of each day) or live demo. We will let you into the main room once the meditation or demo are complete.
Engagement during teachings: We keep the chat open. We ask that you do not create side conversations or ask questions in the chat. This splits attention and impacts the coherence of the container. If you have a question or comment, please raise your hand and we will get to you at the next appropriate moment.
Our safety agreements
We strive to co-create a spirit of belonging where people can learn, practice, heal, and take meaningful risks.
We ask everyone to agree to the following:
Maintain confidentiality. Anything you learn about another participant is treated as sacred and is not shared without their explicit permission. Class recordings and other cohort materials may not be shared outside the cohort.
Practice your freedom of choice. Participate at the level that feels safe to you. All experiential activities are invitations, not requirements.
Honor your right to privacy. Share only what you want to share.
Practice self-care. You are responsible for your own comfort and wellbeing. Take care of yourself in the ways you need, and ask for what you need.
Code of conduct
We ask everyone in our community to treat one another with care and mutual respect.
This includes:
Arriving on time.
Keeping your camera on during live virtual sessions as much as possible.
Coming prepared and participating in your own learning.
Contributing to the learning of others.
Engaging in discussion with integrity.
Respecting the learning space, your fellow participants, mentors, and instructors.
Joining class from a space where you can participate without unnecessary interruption.
Honoring the dignity and humanity of everyone in the cohort.
Completion policy
There is no partial completion credit for our trainings.
To receive a Certificate of Completion and any applicable ICF CCEs, you must meet the attendance and participation requirements for your program.
If you are unable to complete a training because of illness, an emergency, or another significant circumstance, please contact us. We will do our best to include you in a future cohort so you can complete the training.
Payment plans and late payments
Payment plans are available for eligible trainings.
When you enroll using a payment plan, approximately half of the tuition is paid at enrollment. The remaining balance is due one week before the second module.
Your account must be current in order to attend the second module.
If your remaining balance has not been paid by the due date, you will not be able to continue attending the training until your account is current.
Refund policy
If you withdraw more than two weeks before the training begins, you will receive a full refund, less a $150 cancellation fee. This gives us time to offer your place to another student.
If you withdraw within two weeks of the training start date, you will receive a 75% refund.
If you withdraw after the first module but before the second module, you will receive a 75% refund.
No refunds are provided after the second module begins.
Recordings and course materials
Class recordings are provided to support your learning and allow you to review material after class or catch up on a missed session.
Because our trainings may include personal sharing, demonstrations, and experiential work, recordings and course materials are for enrolled participants only and may not be shared outside your cohort.
